Alyssa's Glow Worm Writing

I could hear the lady talking in the caves, and
I felt scared.
On the ground there was water that was deep.
High above, on the roof there were glow worms.

Niamh's Glow Worm Writing

I vividly remember walking into the centre of the dark spooky caves. I thought I heard a ghost, but really it was just the wind.
I saw calcium on the cave walls. On the ground I saw stalagmites.
Up high above I saw stalactites and glow worms shining like stars.

I remember walking through the caves. I saw stalactites and stalagmites. I heard wood squeaking. I saw the glow worms light beyond the ceiling. I saw the beautiful light shine in my eyes. Then we really got deeper in the spooky old cave. I felt terrified. I was shivering and I felt cold.

I remember walking through the caves. High above me are thousands of twinkling stars and when we turn off our lights there are even more.
Beside me I can see columns and stalactites and stalagmites.
I hear the sound of the stream running through the cave.
As I was looking around I spotted an eel.
The air was cold, so was I.
I saw some limestone rocks as well.

Aylah's Glow Worm Writing

I remember walking through the caves and walking into the deeper dark cave. As we stopped and turned off the lights it went pitch black. I saw the glow worms above me. I heard the lady talking to us all. I saw the stalactites and stalagmites. I felt the wet spray circle.

Aiden's Glow Worm Writing

I remember walking through the caves. I can see stalagmites and cave wetas, and stalactites and an eel. High above I could see limestone dropping on my head. I hear drips from the limestone dropping on the path.
I saw water on the path too. I was looking for a cave spider but I didn’t see any. I felt the air in the cave. I smiled at the glow worms.

Ben's Glow Worm Writing

I remember walking through the caves.
High above I was trying to find some glow worms.
Finally I spotted one.
I said, “Mum, look up. “There is a glowworm. It looks like it’s lonely.”
Mum said, “I bet it isn’t. Now it is time to go into the next room.”
It was nearly too bright for me to see because of the glow worms.
