Sophies Glow Worm Writing

I remember walking through the caves.
I slowly dawdled through the mouth of the cave. The guide made a speech about its history and how one of her ancestors found it. She seemed proud to be related to the woman.
The sound of water came drifting from ahead. The freshness of the air was beautiful as it came dancing into my mouth. The guide whispered to turn off or lights. As soon as we did so, glow worm light flashed on right before our eyes. the lights reminded me of looking at tiny stars in the sky.
Formations, and stalactites towered above my head. Tiny droplets of water landed on me as I waddled through the cave. Finally we reached the exit.
I’ll never forget gong to the Kawiti caves. It was one of the best times of my life.
